Deep Purple Bustle Dress

The dress is gorgeous, it's honestly everything I've ever wanted. However, the straps are all just ribbon, hanging on for dear life by very small elastics in the back. Not only do the ribbons dig into your neck as the weight of the dress all lands on these very thin 1/2 points. But also soon after purchase the elastic snapped! I wore the dress around 6 times maximum while relaxing at home on my weekends. Simply standing in my kitchen and a nearly $300 dress tore itself apart while still on my body. And it especially feels awful, because it was a gift from a friend! Knowing she wasted so much money (that she doesn't have much of) on my dream dress, just for me to be unable to wear it comfortably (or at all now) totally sucks.
